A history in lego

For this project I was asked to re-create 3 photographs from history using lego pieces. These are the 3 photographs I picked.

Albert Einstein at the BlackBoard

This is one of the most famous photos of Einstein (above), showing some scientists at California some mathematical formulas.

This is my lego version of the Einstein photo (above), I used a rolled up piece of paper for the chalk and made the board of MicroSoft Paint and printed it off.

Condescending Wonka

This is a frame from the film "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971)". It has become famous because of the internet, people get this frame and caption it with a condescending message.
For example:
This type of humor is called a Meme, the image is the same and its always the same type of joke.

This is my lego version of the condescending Wonka:

I used MicroSoft Paint to create the background, I had the background put on full screen on my computer. I used plasticine for the hat and clothes. I used MicroSoft Paint to caption the image.

The V-J Day Kiss

On august 14th 1945 it was announced World War II had ended. George Mendonsa was on his first date with the woman he is now married to Rita Petry, he got drunk and out of the celebration he grabbed what he thought was a nurse and kissed her. The woman he thought was a nurse was a dental assistant named Greta Zimmer Friedman.

This is my lego version of the V-J day kiss:

I created the background by tracing the photo and making silhouettes of the people, I edited the photo in Adobe Photoshop. I created the lego peoples hat and hair with plasticine.
